Low Income Tickets
A3 Festival - Low-Income Program
At A3 Festival, we are committed to making the event accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation. Through our 2024 Low-Income Ticket Program, we offer a limited number of tickets at a reduced price of $275 + Booking Fee, specifically for those who may not be able to afford our standard tickets.
What is the Low-Income Ticket Program?
- This program provides significantly discounted tickets to individuals who can demonstrate financial need through an application process.
How much are Low-Income Tickets?
- Low-Income Tickets are priced at $275 + Booking Fee.
Who qualifies as ‘Low Income’ and what documents are required
- Applications are reviewed individually, with preference given to those who provide detailed information. Considerations include employment status, student enrollment, government benefits, and weekly income.
Applicants must submit the following documentation:
Required Documents:
- Proof of the last three months of bank transactions (a bank or transaction statement with your name and address; screenshots not accepted).
- Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License, or Proof of Age Card).
- Low-Income Health Card (if applicable).
Additional Documents (as needed):
- Student ID or a recent enrollment confirmation letter.
- Centrelink statement showing your name, address, and payments.
- Recent payslip.
Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered, and we cannot follow up for missing documents.
Application Timeline
Applications are now open and reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline is November 1st, 2024, or when all tickets are allocated —whichever comes first.
How will I know if my application is successful?
Successful applicants will receive an email notification by November 15th, 2024.
How do I purchase my ticket?
Once approved, you’ll receive a unique link to purchase a non-transferable, Low-Income Ticket. Only applications with all required documents will be considered. Low-Income tickets cannot be resold.
Using Your Ticket at the Festival
At the festival, you must present your Low-Income Ticket along with a valid ID to verify that you are the original applicant.

- One application per person; group or couple applications are not accepted.
- Applications must be submitted in your full legal name.
- Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be re-sold.
- You may use PayPal 'Pay in 4' for ticket purchases.

Ballot tickets will be on sale Tuesday 2nd July, 12pm.
Tickets will be available to the public from Wednesday 3rd July, 12pm.
To suit all fiscal policies, A3 has a selection of payment options including 'Buy Now, Pay Later' facilitated by Pay in 4, by PayPal.

Vehicle Passes
Patrons driving to A3 Festival are required to purchase a Vehicle Pass:
Standard Private Vehicle Pass - (5 or less people): Only ONE vehicle pass is required per vehicle, enabling that one vehicle (car/motorcycle) to enter into the campgrounds.
Large Private Vehicle Pass - (6 to 8 people): Only ONE vehicle pass is required per vehicle, enabling that one large private vehicle (Campervan or SUV) to enter into the campgrounds.
Private Charter Bus Pass - (9-25+ people): Only ONE Private Charter Bus pass is required per vehicle. Charter buses will NOT be enabled entry into the campgrounds. All Private Charter Buses will be directed to a designated drop-off point upon arrival.
External Car Park Pass: There will be a designated External Car Park space located close to the campground for those who will not be camping with their vehicle. You will be able to park in this area and walk into the campground with your equipment.
All Vehicle and Private Charter Passes allow access from Friday 29th November, 12pm onwards.
All Vehicle Passes include 1 x FREE drug/alcohol test for the driver.
Carbon emissions are offset by Treecreds.
All attendees that would like to bring their vehicle into the campgrounds (General Camping, Premium Camping & Glamping) will require a car pass.
Name Changes
If you wish to perform a name change on a ticket, you are able to do so via Tixel, more information will be shared with you shortly.
Resale
Tixel is the only authorised resale platform for A3 Festival 2024.
Passouts
A3 Festival has a strict no passouts policy. If you would like to leave the festival early you are permitted to do so however, once you leave you will not be able to re-enter.
Refund Policy
A3 Festival has a strict no refund policy, unless required by Australian Consumer Law. If you can no longer attend, you have the option to list your ticket on Tixel or sell it privately to a friend.
Trespassing
We have a zero tolerance policy to trespassing. Trespassing is a criminal offence, anyone found fence jumping or on site without a wristband will be escorted out of the event and may be prosecuted by Victoria Police and will have a lifetime ban from attending all A3 Festival and Novel events.
Camping
Camping
A General Admission ticket includes standard camping at the festival, no additional camping ticket is required to camp at A3 Festival. Campgrounds operate on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be reserved or allocated for patrons prior to or at the festival. You can purchase your General Admission ticket here.
There will be a strong presence Campground Staff performing wellbeing checks that will be available for any assistance through all campsites.
Campsites that are littered with waste will be penalised for doing so. Campsite cleanliness will be a major focus of A3 Festival and we will have more information on this soon.
Glamping & Premium Camping
We will also be offering Glamping and Premium Campground tickets at A3 Festival. You can find all Glamping and Premium Camping information here.
Directions & Transport
Directions
The most direct way to get to A3 Festival is by car or bus. While each journey will take varying times depending on your starting point, our location, Lardner Park, is seventy five (75) minutes from Melbourne. More information on routing will be provided soon.
Vehicle Passes

Return A3 Buses
All Return A3 Bus Passes offer a return service, meaning you will be picked up and dropped off at the same location - Melbourne CBD. You will have the option to choose your departure date and time, which must align with your Festival Entry Ticket. More information on bus timetables will be shared soon.
Food & Drink
Food
We will have a number of food vans and stalls operating throughout the day and night at A3 Festival.
There will be options to accommodate a range of dietary requirements, whether vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or otherwise. A full list of food vendors will be made available closer to the event.
If you do not wish to purchase food at the event you can bring your own. There is no limit to the amount of food and/or non-alcoholic drinks you can bring to A3 Festival.
Free drinking water will be available at various sites throughout the event and the camping grounds, you will be able to find these locations on your site map once revealed.
BYO & Alcohol
A3 Festival is BYO - this is strictly limited to 24 cans OR 1 bottle of spirits per person.
Our bars will be open from Friday afternoon, serving cocktails and a range of popular beers and pre-mixed drinks throughout the weekend.
Please note, glass is strictly prohibited, if you are bringing a bottle of spirits this must be decanted into a reusable water bottle.

Medical & Wellbeing
What To Know
If medical assistance is required for you or someone you know at any point throughout the festival, there will be a medical tent with trained medical staff readily available to assist you 24 hours a day. We are committed to providing a space that is judgement free where any issue can be discussed openly and in confidentiality. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the location of the medical tent on your site map.
Your health should be your number one priority throughout the entire weekend. Remember to stay hydrated, eat regularly throughout the day/night, get enough sleep, be conscious of your limits and make informed choices. We encourage a mature and safe party culture - have fun, but most importantly take care of each other and yourself.
There will be services available to provide alcohol and drug testing kits to ensure drivers are able to get behind the wheel before they leave the festival. More information on this will be provided soon.

How does the Ballot work?
By signing up to the Ballot, you sign up for early-access tickets to A3 Festival before the rest of the public. You can sign up for the Ballot here.

What if I missed out on the Ballot sign up?

How can I secure A3 Festival tickets?

Is camping included in my ticket?
Yes - All Festival Entry Tickets include general camping. If you have purchased a Premium Camping or Glamping ticket, this will be noted on your confirmation email and ticket.
Where is my ticket?
To have your ticket sent to you, you will need to input the requested information for each ticket holder after you have entered your card details for purchase. This will allow you to unlock your tickets which will then be sent to the email address entered at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email of your ticket purchase. If you do not receive your confirmation email or believe you have entered an incorrect email, please contact Eventbrite Support and they will be able to assist you.
Does my ID need to match the name on my ticket?
Yes, the name on your ticket needs to match the name on your ID. There will be event staff checking ID’s and tickets on the gate upon entry. If your name does not match the name on the ticket, you will be refused entry into the festival.
Can I arrive later than my Festival Entry Ticket permits?
Yes - However, you can not arrive earlier than the date on your Festival Entry Ticket.

Do you offer complimentary tickets for Aboriginal & First Nations People?

Is A3 Festival 18+?
A3 Festival is strictly a +18 event.
Do you offer complimentary birthday tickets?
A3 Festival does offer complimentary birthday tickets for birthdays between the 29th - 1st. Please contact info@a3festival.com with a proof of ID to claim.
I haven’t received my ticket or confirmation email?
Sometimes there may be a delay between the time the ticket is purchased and the time the confirmation email is received. In the event that you have not received a confirmation email after you have purchased your ticket, please contact Eventbrite Support.
After I buy a ticket, when will it be sent to me?
After you have purchased your tickets to A3 Festival, you will receive a confirmation email confirming your purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you can email Eventbrite Support. Your official ticket to A3 Festival will be sent to you at a closer date.
When will Vehicle Passes be available to purchase?
Vehicle Passes will be available to purchase when the Ballot and General Admission Ticket sales open. On sale information can be found here.
Will there be an A3 Festival Charter Bus?
Yes. All Charter Bus Passes also offer a return service, where you will be picked up and dropped off at the same location. More information will be provided on this shortly.
Can I get a private bus to take me and my friends to A3 Festival?
Yes - A Private Charter Bus Pass will need to be purchased.
Can I get dropped off?
Yes - If you are being dropped off by a friend or family member, there will be a designated drop off/pick up point. If you are being dropped off by a privately organised bus, then you will need to purchase a Private Bus Pass and you will be dropped off at the bus drop off/pick up point.
Can I drive and camp next to my car?
Yes, the appropriate Vehicle Pass for the size of your car must be purchased. These passes are available to purchase here.
When do I need to leave the A3 Festival Site?
Music will conclude on the evening of Sunday 1st December, and the A3 Festival site will need to be vacated by 12:00pm, Monday 2nd December. We encourage attendees to stay the extra night if you need more time to rest before your journey home.

Is A3 Festival BYO?
A3 is a BYO Festival - This is strictly limited to 24 cans OR 1 bottle of spirits per person.

Will there be free drinking water?
Yes, there will be plenty of free drinking water stations situated around the festival arena and in the campgrounds. There will also be water available to purchase from stalls.
Will there be bars?
Yes, there will be a number of bars situated throughout the festival arena and in the food-stall areas.
Are plastic water bottles banned?
Plastic water bottles and single-use plastics are not permitted at A3 Festival. We strongly encourage all patrons to bring reusable water bottles and containers for the weekend.
How much alcohol can I bring?
This is strictly limited to 24 cans OR 1 bottle of spirits per person.
Please note, glass is banned, if you are bringing a bottle of spirits this must be decanted into a reusable water bottle or it will be confiscated on arrival.
Will there be ice available to purchase?
Yes. There will be ice available from stores on site to keep your food & drinks cold
Will there be WiFi/reception?
There will be designated WiFi zones within the festival arena. These locations will be shared closer to the date. In case of an emergency, WiFi will also be available at the Box Office. There will be minimal reception in other areas of the festival arena and campgrounds.

Terms & Conditions
A3 The Terms and Conditions of Sale include the following:
1. Tickets are sold, gifted or allocated by the Organiser. Purchase of a ticket constitutes a contract between the Organiser, the purchaser and – in the event that the ticket is gifted, allocated or purchased on another’s behalf – the Holder.
2. Please be aware that A3 (referred to as ‘the Festival’) is subject to a major event ticketing declaration under Part 9A of the Major Events Act 2009. This means it is an offence to sell, advertise or offer to resell a ticket for more than 10% above its face value purchase price. Offenders face fines of between $908 and $445,220 depending on the nature of the offence.
3. If a Holder and/or ticket is the subject of a breach of any of our terms and conditions and/or the ticket is damaged or defaced in some way and/or proof of purchase cannot be established and/or contravenes ticket resale laws, it and any other ticket from the same order will be made void and Holders will be ejected and/or refused entry and/or charged with trespass and/or charged with obtaining financial advantage by deception, or similar. If the Holder is unable to attend, please use Tixel (the only authorised resale facility).
4. Complimentary tickets cannot be sold, advertised or offered for sale.
5. A recipient of a ballot code to purchase tickets cannot sell, attempt to sell or attempt to transfer a ballot code for profit or commercial advantage. If this occurs, the ballot code and any associated tickets will be voided and the individual will be excluded from future ballots. A ballot code does not guarantee the recipient an opportunity to purchase a ticket to the Festival.
6. Tickets and ballot codes cannot be used as part of any marketing, media, sales promotion or competition, whether commercial or non-commercial, without prior written permission from the Organiser.
7. The full ticket price incorporates on-site services and amenities including, but not limited to, camping and parking.
8. A change in personal circumstances does not entitle the Holder to a refund of the price of the ticket or the return or exchange of the ticket.
9. Tickets and other expenses will not be refunded in whole or in part under any circumstances including, but not limited to, Holders being asked or forced to leave, Holders deciding not to attend any portion of the Festival, the possible non-appearance of any particular person or group expected by the Holder, whether advertised or not. Holders agree that the Organiser, and their agents and servants, are not liable for acts of God, the weather, strikes, protests, actions taken by government agencies, infectious and/or communicable viruses or diseases, and similar causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser and understand that tickets and other expenses will not be refunded in whole or in part in these circumstances, except as required by law. Aspects including but not limited to programming, ticket price and capacity are subject to change at any time without notice. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Festival for any reason. Any valid refunds resulting from cancellation or postponement will not include the postage fee (if tickets have been posted) or booking fee.
10. Holders should carefully consider the refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements to attend the Festival. Holders may also wish to consider taking out a relevant insurance policy to cover any losses in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or relocation.
11. Lost, stolen, missing or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
12. The terms and conditions that apply to any particular transaction will be the published terms and conditions at the time the transaction was finalised. Subject to the preceding sentence, the Organiser may alter or change the terms and conditions as they appear on our website from time to time, effective immediately upon posting to the website. The Holder should periodically check the terms and conditions at: https://a3festival.com/
13. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and include local taxes (GST). Credit card statements for purchases made via the Eventbrite Ticket Centre will itemise a purchase as a charge from “A3 Festival Pty Ltd”. Our goods and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Those consumer guarantees apply in addition to any other express warranties provided under this agreement. The purchaser is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
14. The images, text, logos and artwork contained within the Festival websites are the copyright of A3 Festival Pty Ltd and/or the relevant licensors. All rights are reserved. Unauthorised use by way of copying, storage, reproduction, publishing electronically or otherwise transmitting in any form or by any means in whole or in part is prohibited. The A3 logo and Novel logo are registered trademarks.
15. In order to purchase a ticket, the Organiser may need to collect and keep personal information about the Purchaser/Holder, including the Purchaser’s/Holder’s name, address, credit card or payment details and telephone number. The Organiser may also need to disclose the Purchaser’s/Holder’s personal information/data as required by law, or as permitted under the Privacy Act, or when determined as reasonably necessary to review, maintain or improve functions, activities or services relating to the design or delivery of the Festival.
16. To the full extent permitted by law, Holders waive all legal rights of action (on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns) against and fully release the Organiser, its agents, employees, members and volunteers for all claims for compensation for loss, damage, injury (including, but not limited to, bodily injury, mental anguish, emotional distress, sickness, disease), molestation (including, but not limited to, assault, interference, bullying, abuse) or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the Holder’s participation in the Festival. This includes, without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission on the part of the persons released, or under statute or for breach of these terms and conditions.
The Terms and Conditions of Entry include the following:
1. Tickets (which are sold only in the form of a wristband) must be worn around the wrist of the Holder for the duration of the Festival. Once the Holder has arrived at the Festival, the Holder’s ticket cannot then be shared or transferred to anyone else. All attendees are required to stop and show their ticket when requested to do so by authorised Festival staff. Once a ticket is removed from the wrist of the Holder it becomes void. For security purposes, tickets remain the property of the Organiser from the time of sale until the advertised gates closing time of the Festival.
2. The right of admission is reserved and subject to the discretion of the Organiser. Entry to the Venue is only permitted to Holders who agree to have their person, vehicle and belongings searched for glass, gas bottles and other banned items. Banned items are confiscated and not returned.
3. Entry to the Venue is only permitted to Holders who agree to the Festival terms and conditions and the Festival policies. The Festival policies all form part of the terms and conditions of sale and entry and include, but are not limited to, Trespassers, No Dickheads, Campsite Noise and Nuisance, Internet Privacy, Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Buying or Selling Your Ticket, What to Bring, Banned Items and Gates Times. You can review our policies here. The Organiser reserves the right to evict and/or refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the terms and conditions and/or does not comply with the Festival policies and/or is involved in an illegal activity and/or adversely affects the enjoyment of the Festival for others.
4. Tickets only provide access to the areas indicated by signage and/or enforced by authorised staff and security at the Festival.
5. Professional audiovisual cameras (including, but not limited to, all cameras with a detachable lens) are only permitted with written permission from the Organiser. A copy of this written permission must be presented at the time of request by Festival staff; failure to do so will result in the equipment being cloaked until the end of the Festival. The Organiser reserves the right to classify an audio visual device as a professional camera and/or a device used for a professional purpose and, therefore, a banned item. The Organiser reserves the right to remove a Holder if they are in breach of the requirements regarding audiovisual equipment.
6. The Festival is licensed to serve alcohol by the Victorian Liquor Commission. The Venue allows Holders to Bring Your Own (BYO) which refers to consumable quantities of alcohol and excludes commercial quantities, whether intended for sale or offered free of charge. Holders wishing to purchase and/or consume alcohol at the Festival must be over 18 years of age, carry valid photographic ID at all times, and drink responsibly.
7. Before driving, Holders are invited to take a free breath test prior to exiting on the last day of the Festival. If a blood alcohol content over .00 is registered, it is important to get a second breath test from a different location. Breath test readings can vary, so Holders should only drive if they determine themselves to be well below the legal limit, and fit and able. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for breath testing or any accident, injury or damage arising from traveling to or from the Festival, or at any time while on-site.

9. All Holders consent to being included in any official photography, filming and sound recording by the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives, official partners and contractors and grant the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives, official partners and contractors the right to use such material for promotion and other purposes, in perpetuity. The Holder agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture or reproduction of the Festival.
10. Transport to and from the Venue will be operated by independent/private parties. Any claims including but not limited to accident, injury and damage resulting from transport should be directed to the third party. Holders agree that the Organiser is not liable for the consequences of any lengthy delays at any time including but not limited to entry to and departure from the Venue.
11. Some of the artists appearing at the Festival may use lyrics, language, gestures, symbols, images, video footage and/or video transmission whilst performing that some people may find offensive. If such a performance is likely to concern the Holder, they should consider either not attending the performance, or leave the vicinity of the stage for the duration of the performance. Some participants at the Festival may engage in expressive activity and dress, which may include nudity or partial nudity. If such activity offends or raises concerns, the Holder should consider leaving or avoiding the vicinity of said participants.
12. The Organiser takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, equipment and vehicles before, during or after the Festival. All vehicles, trailers, campers etc. must be registered with VicRoads (or equivalent) and be roadworthy.
13. If the Holder has a viral or bacterial illness they should stay at home to keep from infecting others.
14. Holders understand they must bring sufficient clothing and shelter to survive the duration of their stay at the Festival.
15. Holders acknowledge that they are physically able to participate in events and associated activities at the Venue, and that they have not received advice to the contrary by any qualified medical professional.
16. Holders acknowledge that participating in the Festival has inherent dangers and risks, including a risk of serious injury or even death. In the event of injury or illness the Organiser may, at the cost of the Holder, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed essential for the safety of the Holder. The Organiser accepts no liability for any injury, claim or damages resulting from any medical treatment on-site. Medical treatment is provided by third parties who are separate legal entities. Any claims resulting from medical treatment, policing or security on-site should be directed to the third party. Holders consent to medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during any event or activity at the Festival. By using Festival medical facilities Holders consent to the Organiser accessing their medical records for the purpose of investigating incidents related to the Festival.
17. In the case of a major incident, emergency or serious injury, Holders must follow all official directives from Emergency Services, the Organiser and their authorised agents and staff.
18. Entry is at the Holder’s own risk. Without limiting the generality of this, appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times whilst on-site and ear plugs should be worn if necessary. The Organiser takes no responsibility for any hearing damage or loss caused by excessive noise. The Organiser takes no responsibility for damage or loss caused by theatrical effects like smoke or strobe lighting. Holders understand that themed camps and campsite parties are not owned or operated by the Organiser. The Holder assumes all risk of injury or death arising from the operation of and/or participation in any of these activities.
19. Swimming in the dams or any other body of water is not permitted.
20. The Tobacco Act 1987 bans smoking within 10 metres of a food vendor. Please do not smoke within 10 metres of food vendors or in any other smoke free zone.
21. Commercial, promotional, fundraising, campaigning and trading activities, including private events, are not permitted at the Venue without the express prior written permission of the Organiser.
22. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from or provided by third party traders.
23. Purchasers and Holders accept that the internet, temporary mobile phone towers and other utilities including, but not limited to, electricity, gas and water are not always reliable and that system outages and interruptions may occur. Holders are not permitted to plug, tap or draw into or from these services without prior written permission from the Organiser.
24. Holders are not entitled to collect, use, store or disclose any data, samples or information of any kind including, but not limited to, surveys and interviews, without the express prior written consent from the Organiser. A copy of this written permission must be presented at the time of request by Festival staff or representatives. The Organiser reserves the right to remove a Holder from the Venue if they are in breach of these requirements.
WARNING: If the Holder participates in the Festival, the Holder’s rights to sue the supplier under the Fair Trading Act 1999 if the Holder is killed or injured because the activities were not supplied with due care and skill, or were not reasonably fit for their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in or on this notice.
NOTE: The change to the Holder’s rights, as set out in or on this notice, does not apply if the Holder’s death or injury is due to gross negligence on the supplier’s part. “Gross negligence” is defined in the Fair Trading (Recreational Services) Regulations 2004.

This Privacy Policy details how we comply with the Privacy Act (1988) (Cth) (“Privacy Act”) and the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) set out in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act, and to the extent that it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

Types of information we collect
